The flagpole at the Founding Ceremony of China was 22.5 meters high and was welded with four pipes of different diameters from the Beijing Water Supply Company. The flagpole was originally required to be the same height as the Tiananmen Tower. It was estimated to be 35 meters, but the conditions were limited and no suitable one could be found. material. After the "National Flag Law of the People's Republic of China" was promulgated and implemented on October 1, 1990, the flagpole in Tiananmen Square was replaced once in 1991 according to the requirements of the National Flag Law. The new flagpole is 30 meters high. The original flagpole was rebuilt in 1991 and stood in the original Chinese Revolution Museum. After disassembly and assembly in 2007, it was collected in the library area of the museum. On June 21, 2011, re-exhibited to the public at the National Museum of China
